Most of the eBooks that you will find in the DVC library catalog are EBSCO eBooks. A few steps are required if you want to download the EBSCO eBook to your desktop or an e-reader device, or you can always read it in a web browser.
If you would like to download an eBook to your desktop computer, you will need to have the following accounts set up:
1. MyEBSCO account-- from inside the EBSCO eBook system or database, click on the "Sign In" link at the top right-hand side of the page. If you do not have an account, you can register on the Sign In page.
2. Adobe account-- go to the Adobe Digital Editions website and look for the "Sign In" link at the top-right hand of the page. If you do not have an account, you can register on the Sign In page.
Finding an EBSCO eBook--
1. Search using the library catalog. This will give you a mixture of print books and eBooks in your search results.
2. Search using the EBSCO eBook search box. If you know that you want an eBook, this is your best option.
