Yes, the DVC Library has a subscription to the New York Times that provides faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students access to the New York Times online.

Visit the NYT Academic portal and sign up using your DVC campus email address to create your account (@insite.4cd.edu for students, and @dvc.edu for faculty and staff).

Accounts are active for one year from the date you create your account and can be renewed by logging in through the academic portal after your account expires - see instructions below.

Chat/email/text the DVC Library Reference Desk if you have questions or run into problems, or you can visit the NY Times Academic Pass FAQs here.

You will need to renew your New York Times online access every year. To renew, follow the instructions below:

  1. Log out of NYT on all applicable devices
  2. Go to this linked page - New York Times digital access
  3. Click on "Already have an account? Log in here"
