If you are trying to get into the article databases from home, you must start from the DVC Library's Databases page. You cannot go directly to EBSCO.com, ProQuest.com, or a link from a Google search, since the system won't know you are affiliated with DVC when you try to log in.

Once you click on the name of a database from the Library's Databases page, you will get a log in prompt asking for your USERNAME and PASSWORD, which looks like this:

For your username, use the same credentials you use on Insite Portal: first initial of your first name, your full last name, and the last three digits of your student ID.

Once you enter this information, you will have full access to this database.

If you are having trouble accessing the databases from off-campus, please contact a librarian and let them know your name and student ID, and what sort of error message you are receiving.
