The library no longer has any newspapers on microfilm, nor do we have a microfilm reader.

We do have access to San Francisco Chronicle (from 1985 onward) and the Contra Costa Times (from 1995 onward) through our Access World News Research Collection database.

We have access to the New York Times from 1851 - 2010 through our New York Times Historical Index database.

For other newspapers or other time periods, you can contact the Contra Costa Public Library - click here for more information about the CClib's newspaper collections.
