If you want to request a print book to get sent from one DVC campus to another, follow these steps or watch the video below:

1. Find your book in OneSearch. Click on the words "Sign In" under the heading "Find In Library." Sign in using your Insite Portal username and password.

2. After you've signed in, click on the words "Request Item"

3. Select which campus you want the book sent to and click "Send Request."

4. Make sure to wait for the confirmation email from circ@dvc.edu notifying you that your books are ready to pick up. Books must be picked up within 7 days.


PLEASE NOTE: Media, Course Reserves, and Reference books are not included in this service, only books marked DVC Stacks.

Our turnaround time for completing hold requests is two business days, excluding Fridays. Requests are not filled on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, non-instructional days (including Spring break), nor holidays. Service not offered after the last day of instruction.
