Q. How do I check out a book?

• Who can check out books? Currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff can check out books for the DVC library. Alumni and community members cannot.
• How many? You can check out up to 20 books at a time.
• For how long? Checkouts are for three weeks.
• What do I need? You need a DVC student ID or some other form of photo ID to check out books.
• How do I renew my books? Log in to your library account, select the books you want to renew, then follow the prompts to complete your renewal.
